dbzerk, the RB74s are made by RaceBrakes.

I'll go down to my garage tomorrow and have a look. I may also have a spare set of standard pads - not very worn.
Thanks Red! Fingers crossed you have front and rears..

I've just checked: What I've got is one complete set of competition pads - comprising RB74s for the front and Comp-3 for the rears. Plus, 1 set of Honda standard rears only.

The competition pads are in great shape - lots of meat on them. The Honda standard rears are half worn.

Well, as Aus said, they're serious competition pads. They work better than standard under racetrack conditions. That is, they are designed to work better at a higher temperature.

In suburban driving on a cold Melbourne night, at speeds of 60-80 Km/Hr they don't work as well as the standard pads.

Well, to each their own but I really wouldn't rely on no names brands from ebay for my rotors.

I'd give them a big miss. You life is worth more than the couple of hundred dollars you'd save.

If you want the best professional advice on brakes, make a trip over to North Melbourne and see RaceBrakes. Speak to Howard Reynolds.

If you want address & phone No - let me know.

The RB74s are a bit serious for general use and produce heaps of dust. Check out Bendix Ultimates as a cheaper alternative to stock.
I have used Ultimates and also found them to be great. Dusty though.

I have to ask if you are not doing any racing/sprints - why do you want upgraded pads ???

I believe that Honda uprated the standard S2000 pads about 18 months ago - they should be up to the job.
