Buffy's company alone sent 37,000 people there so far this year! And they are not the only wholesaler.

BTW, that drink is a Jam Jar. It's made from Arak and fruit juice and is great if you don't mind loosing your eyesight for a few days. I didn't drink much more of it. BTW, it cost me about $1.50 I think.

Wow, cheap. Pitty about all this Bali sounds like the ultimate holiday location for someone who drinks like a fish. Me.

Do you guys remember about this time last year we weren't even sure that the Indy was going to go ahead due to Sep 11. Do you think now that due to the horrifying bombing in Bali the Indy could be under threat?

Despite what the media would have us believe, it's not exactly an example of what could happen here.

I heard this morning (channel 9) that a large amount of explosives was intercepted in Bali only a few months ago. It was widely reported in Bali, yet the Australian embassy has seemingly neglected to make a deal of it. I wonder how many travellers would have made the trip knowing that.

I also feel very sorry for the locals. We see very little of their suffering on TV..I'd hate to be stuck in their 2nd rate hospital system.

People often talk about Americans being insular - ie don't hear or give a rats arse about what happens in the rest of the world.......

Outside of our forum, you see hardly a mention of what has happened in Bali anywhere else

They'll talk about now that al-Qaeda links have been "confirmed". Gives them another excuse/reason/rationale to justify their Afghan or Iraq incursion.
