If you are to upgrade your wheels, what do you think is the best size to bring out best performance.

16x6.5 and 16x7.5 rear I'd say. Preferably lightweight forged wheels.

Seriously though, if you want 'performance' the stock wheels take some beating. Perhaps the Spoon wheels in the same size, but lighter would be an improvement.

Any larger diameter wheel just moves the weight out from the axis and increases the moment of inertia (takes more power to turn them). And there are very few larger diameter wheels that weigh less than the stock wheels. If you have heard about increased stiffness and the like remember that the wheels and tyres on the S were designed for it specifically. The chances of improving it with bigger rims and other tyres is pretty low.

Of course, if performance = bling bling then that's a whole 'nother story.

not bling bling

from the readings, alot of 2sk owners mentioning about the rear stepping out during the cornerings, don't you think the wider rear wheel will improve its grip??

There's no shortage of rubber at the back as it is. If you find the car oversteers too much for your liking there are at least two more direct ways to address the problem. Firstly through wheel alignment and especially rear toe in, and secondly by fitting a stiffer front anti-roll bar.

Im way too slow on my searches but here is a link to the JDM S2k wheels. They are forged BBS wheels in the same dimensions as our oems only lighter and stronger.
