Just got a S2K and now looking to add some mods. Just wanted to know the best things i can do to the car based on other people's experiences. Especially exhaust!!

Maybe have a little read around the site and get back to us with some specific questions.

 

Congrats on getting the car mate Aus is right, but here's a starting point: what exactly do you want from the car?

 

Spent many hours sifting through but just too many, if you know of a good post that i can look at it would be much appreciated

 

I would like to get more power out of the car (even minimal) with an exhaust that isnt too loud and anything else to get more of an edge. If you know of any previous posts would be much appreciated.

The best mod you can do for your s2000 is research, as arrogant as that sounds without the research you won't know what your mods will be doing. It takes time and not just "afew hours" of search, more like afew weeks.

 

I've spent 40 days on here, researching each day and still know close to nothing. These things take time, narrow down your search terms if there are too many to sift from and read the FAQ / Stickies in each section.

 

And here's a head up: if you're looking for a noticeable power increase from an exhaust, you won't find one.

Cars that benefit from an exhaust change have restrictive exhausts from the factory. The S2000 doesn't.

 

Best mod I think for the s2000 is driver training. I have spent alot of time and money on mods and they do improve the s2000 experience in the short term. Driver training will enable you to extract more enjoyment out of the car and realize it's pretty sorted stock too.

Once you start with mods it's hard to stop too!
