Description: Imported. Ex condition. A/C , half leather interior. 10 disc cd. Low KMs, fuel injected. Going interstate forces sale.

Very Nice mini, only problem is that it is an Auto!

Another car i'm seriously considering is a new Mazda2 Sports...quite nice looking, very well made, room for lots of storage, 5 adults, handling is very high from what i've read... ~ $20,000 new

So what would be your pick of the bunch? or maybe another car?...

Most of those cars have very high kms. I would never buy a car with very high mileage unless it had both the engine and gearbox replaced or reconditioned, but even then things like suspension will be on the way out. You'd want to be getting a bargain to even consider it in my view. Anything from the '80s is probably just getting too old these days even if it's done low kays. Don't get a BMW unless you have bottomless pockets. They often suffer severe engine problems after about 100,000km and repairs are hellishly expensive.

Tough as it may be you'd be more sensible to set your sights a little lower (sportiness wise) and get a much newer Corolla or something. If it were me I'd be looking for something small and Japanese with under 100,000km. Much better to spend your future spare change on modifying a good basic car than repairing something more exotic that's been thrashed.
