Early 90's Civic? I have one as a second car and it's very useful.

What's up with the 66 mini?

if u want a new car for under $10k, good luck. but if u want an extremely reliable car for under $10k go for any honda civic with all the receipts, they last forever. i bought an 86 civic beater and its fantastic, five speed on the floor (hear that vtec roar), always get a/c with these beaters coz its worth the extra and mine cost about $3500.
but if u want to go v8 power someone my brother knows has a ford falcon gt (73i think he said) with a 351 in it. apparently he said that its in pretty good condition.

There's a Mini Panel Van for sale around the corner. Mind you, the want $4K for it and it's got some rust and no door trims. Tell'em they're dreaming!

alfa sprint/sud under $10,000??!?!????
one word comes to mind. Rust, and a lot of it!

I agree with AusS2000 that the 90's model civic (stock) would be a good pic. Or even a 89/90's prelude.

wil..

early 90s corolla GTi/SX ...twincam16 100kw...better engine and performance than the 4G civic (Si or Vti) interior looks dated tho (as compared to 4G civic)

i think the 4G civic in Si trim is sick, they go good, I would say it will be pretty even with GTi corolla. I like Golf MK I for that money, chuck in Billstein + Eibach combo and you are ready to go, that car is sick for cornering.

Been there. Get ready to spend a lot of time lying under your car in a puddle of oil.

Don't get caught in the "bad taste, c&n" abyss that is dodgy old jap hatch!

Go with the originals and the best....Golf GTI, Peugeot 205 GTI, Mini Cooper S
