Aus ...you're better off asking Mingster. Due to the value of our dollar I generally don't keep imported items in stock.

Aus, the bike itself is a Suzuki Bandit 1200. The motor is based on the old GSX-R1100 but bored out slightly along with other changes for massive low down torque. This is then placed in a naked bike frame to create what is essentially a "hoon" bike (equivalent to putting a V8 into a 4 cylinder car ). However, for a number of reasons, including not wanting to upset GSXR1100 owners who paid much more for their bikes, Suzuki put a hugely restrictive motor on the Bandit and shrank the carbs. The objective of this was basically to restrict high end performance. Replacing the pipe gives you about 15 extra horses (up from 100 to 115) and rejetting the carbs and opening up the inlet tract into the air filter gives you another 10.

2kTurkey,

As far as I can see, my next step in terms of performance improvement is putting wet weather track tyres on the car (Bridgestones or Dunlops).

Am I reading you correct .... are you saying that you're going to get wet semi-race rubber for the S2000 when you replace the tyres? If so, are you planning to drive on the street with those tyres as well? alst of all, how many Kms do you expect to get from them?

Ever owned any Italian machinery 2k? Along with a smattering of Japanese bikes I managed to fit in a Ducati Darmah and a Moto Guzzi Le Mans MK3 many years ago. I pined for some time over selling that Le Mans but I think I'm over it now. It was a work of art (at the time).
