AUS/NZ vs JDM engine query.
I've searched for the differences between AUS/NZ and Japanese domestic market S2000 engines but haven't found a definitive answer.
Does anyone know if the JDM engines run higher compression than Aus/NZ versions due to the everyday availabilitity of 100+ octane fuel in Japan?

From what I read and saw,
-the jdm engine certainly has higher compression ratio. The figure I read is 0.3 higher than our. JDM engine in a aud s2k produces higher compression reading and power.
-I though JDM engine has 2 knock sensors but last time I worked on an AUD s2k that had JDM engine replaced, there was only 1.
It will be interesting to get some confirmation.
