I don't think there's that many cars out there that are fully used for their intended purpose. It's more about whether the car fits your intended purpose for it or not. If part of your intended purpose is being able to lug stuff around occasionally or tow a boat then go for it.
I'd be careful with the moron factor though. Before I got the S I used to drive a VX Commodore and believe me having people want to race you at every stop light got old pretty quickly. I can only imagine how much worse it'd be in a Maloo Ute.
Kuraz.

Never mind guys I'm just being argumentitive. As I pmed Aus its all meant to be a bit tongue in cheek. You guys are stating that if you're not using the tray its not justified and I'm arguing back that I would use the tray, the grey area is that neither of us are directing our points at each other but rather adapting the other pov as a retort.
Aus knows that Im all fun and games when Uni tightens the screws down on me and I become a stubborn, argumentitive pos. Somehow though, I get the feeling he doesn't enjoy it as much as I do, perhaps I should change my user name

Like I say, if you need a ute, get one. And can I borrow it on the weekend...

ps, again back on topic- aren't Chrysler just advertising the bollocks out of the Crossfires! if you turn on a TV in Australia, 76% of the time there will be a Crossfire ad showing at that very moment.

Austblue, I'm obviously forgotten something
What car do you have at the moment? What happened to the Blue S2k?

I think that the next car(s) for me is either an S2000 or a ute and FF but if I don't stop browsing the classifieds that may change
