Aren't you glad you didn't buy...
Just been looking at used prices on Crossfires.
$70,000 + on-roads when new
Now, try $50,000 (dealer's asking price) for cars with e.g. 8ks

ouch

1) Why?
2) How many examples did you look at?

That certainly is a big depreciation (in that particular vehicle at least) for such low mileage.
The roadster only produces 160kw out of a 6 cylinder powerplant anyway. Not a big drawcard IMO but probably ample for someone else.

Not just crossfire... all chrystlers... including Jeeps. The "problem" is two fold... one is that the Aussie dollar has gone upwards against the US, hence the new car prices came down by about 10k since the Corssfire came out + import tax thingy.
I can't believe people actually buy that POS.... but each to their own huh?
I am counting my lucky stars I found a buyer for my Jeep... fingers crossed all goes smoothly this week. Will keep ya all updated

I thought they didn't look too bad. Better than some other convertibles on the market at the moment. I agree they look funny with the roof up.
The one that Fisty quoted is probably just an outlier to the usual market price. Ads rarely mention problems..................
The Crossfire has had some great ads. I particularly liked the one that shows a Crossfire heading out across the desert with the background music being Cher warbling on about a long road ahead.
I've never seen or heard of one at Winton or Phillip Island. Perhaps DavidM can tell us if any have been tested?

Yes I don't particularly like the look with the top up.
In terms of the look with the roof up, the closest thing I can think of is the BMW M-coupe from a few years ago, but I think the crossfire looks a little better.
The SRT is meant to have 246Kw, I haven't heard anything about price on it though. The base roadster is around $75990, so I expect above $85K.
