Anyone know AdrianC?
I guess it's a little late to ask for references, but I just need to calm my nerves. I bought something from him 2 months ago, but haven't received it yet and haven't heard from him in a couple of weeks. Does anyone know him personally or bought anything from him? Thanks.

Adrian is from Sydney so perhaps some of the other Sydney members here may know him.
However, I think your biggest problem is just the mail/shipping delays that are now pretty much standard due to all the security checks that have been put in place.
Any parcel coming into the USA is going to be thoroughly checked. Any heavy parcel containing metal is going to be X-rayed, sniffed by dogs and have it's contents & supporting documents scrutinised. Any small doubts may trigger off an enquiry about who sent it.
I have sent a few parcels to the USA recently and they have taken months to get through whereas before 9/11 they only took weeks.

I know Adrian and believe him to be a good person.
I wouldn't worry too much at this stage, but if you get desparate I'll follwo him up. He lives in the next suburb from me.

Right on, I appreciate the replys. I'm a pretty trusting person, but that has gotten me into trouble before. I've got a couple of friends that are putting alot of doubts into my mind about this transaction. I'm glad that you stepped forward to vouch for him. Thank you, you've made me feel a little better.

I believe he's made a few transactions over the board too so hopefully that would be a good indication of his intentions. Let us know how you go either way

I've bought things from Adrian and he is a really nice guy. You should have to worry much about him. He might be overseas or something since he is in teh import scene.

Adrian is a sound guy I dont realy trust anyone unless someone I know has purchased something from them before, I took a major gamble with Adrian and he came through, only after I'd made him sign his life over to me though & I think he would 2nd that if he see's this thread.
He's a good guy & you've no need to worry.

Can someone please try to contact him for me. I've sent him 2 emails in the past few weeks and he hasn't replied. He hasn't been on the site in almost a month either. I've tried to call his cell # but I just get a busy signal (could be my fault though, I've never tried to dial outside the US) I sold my house and am relocating out of state @ the end of this month and need to contact him about changing the delivery address. Someone please help.
