Default America Time

Hey I just need to know what time would it be in America if its 10:00pm here in Australia. I'm gonna call the Verticle door place to make an order over the phone since i don't trust faxing my credit card number out. Cheers

Well. at the moment in US & Canada I think it should be 11:36 PM (4:36 PM Brisbane time).

Can you work it out from there?

Easiest way is if you are using a Windows O/S

1. Double click on the clock in the task bar

2. Set your current time zone to Sydney (+10 hours) if it hasn't been already.

3. Set time to 10pm

4. Change timezone to the relevant US city (note the US has multiple time zones)

5. Click APPLY and note the time now shown.

6. Reset the timezone and time to correct info after you are done.

There may be easier ways eg search for some website that will convert for you etc) but this is the probably still quicker

World Time: best world time utility I've discovered. It's free and works even if you're not on the 'net. Highly recommended.

http://pawprint.net/wt/

Otherwise, http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/pers...5,16,250,136,22. Click setup, and save the URL with the time zones (the bit after the ? in the URL) that you're interested in. Of course, doesn't work if you're not dialled in.

Keep in mind there are several time zones in the US. Pacific, Mid and Eastern.

Although I'd be surprised if the ricey manaufacturers were anywhere other than CA (Pacific Time).

Thanks alot. Hmm I'm having second thoughts about it cos I spoke to another party and they stated that its gonna be $1000 for the installation. I was like I thought it would be $500 max. I need to find a place that can do it for the price I'm looking for. Cheers

I'll do it for $500 if it doesn't need the fenders rolled!

Extending the wiring is nothing. I do that sort of stuff all the time.

I'm reluctant to do metal work on a painted surface but I'll look into the procedure and see what is required. I know that wheel arch rolling usually involves a rig attached to the hub and roller that applies pressure to the lip.
