Default To All NZ owners

would i be mad to want to bring my s from the uk to nz if i get to emigrate.
or sell in the uk and try and get one over there.

i see from trade me that they are a bit expensive over there for my06's
mine has around 38k on the clock in km.

so is this daft or what.

It's got to be worth the money if you can immigrate with no duties on your S, I would. What are the costs involved. Look up carsales.com.au to get an idea of value down under.

It could be worthwhile I think bringing your S over from the UK. Not sure about the costs involved however.

Late model S2000 say 2004-2009 sell for around $35-$50k NZD so its not cheap to buy in local currency. The earlier ap1 models are around $20-$25k usually.

I am also looking to import my UK spec S2k into New Zealand when I emmigrate in the coming months.

My question is - Has anyone here already imported an S2k into New Zealand and if so what documentation did they have for the frontal impact rules?

Any other info on bringing my car over will be much appreciated
