Air Filter
Have anyone changed their air filter in their car for a aftermarket item and left it in the stock box. Do you need to get a brace of some sort to hold the filter?
Is it possible? Just that mine is getting dirty and would like to change it for say a k&n reusable one. thanks

PM me if you want one - can fit it for you too.

Yes, my wallet was lighter. Apart from that the only difference is that you don't replace them, you clean them. Mind you, it'll take quite a few changes/cleans before you break even.

I have just changed mine to a K & N filter - fits straight in, no mods required.
If that's the case, then the patented Slick cold air intake would not be nearly so effective. Is that right?
