Traction control and 'Brembo' on the calipers won't make the car any faster. TC just makes it safer for people who can't drive and name brands make it more impressive to people who should have bought a Z3.

I'm glad the new S will have TC. But I'm also glad mine doesn't

Hopefully it may help reduce insurance premiums

Does anyone know how the system planned for the S differs from that in the newer evos? It seems that the active yaw control has worked wonders for it on the track but then I'm not too sure how much input it has on throttle.

Well the EVO is AWD so I guess that could make a difference. Or does AYC only affect the rear?

I stand corrected. Looks like AYC is a rear wheel only thing.

I believe Honda's stability control uses throttle and independent brake control to stabilise.

It will be interesting to see the performance difference between the 05 model and the 06 model. I recon the F20C's are no worse in performance and with the added weight to the 06 S2000 it might even be slower.
But all in all, the new 06 should attract more buyers from its added tricks like Traction Control and a little more touquier and not as harsh engine rev.
