19" wheels & engineering certificates
Guys just another quick query,
for any of you who have put 19" wheels on have you guys tried to get them engineered so that they are legal ? im trying to figure out if this is possible i.e. if they can be given an engineering certificate for and if so under what conditions.
thanks in advance.

We're a pretty friendly bunch around here and we don't normally insult new members until they've been here at least 5 minutes
Please don't take this personally or get offended
16" & 17" wheels are about right
18" wheels are over the top
19" wheels are pure rice
I know it's not your fault, the wheels were on the car when you bought it. However, now you own it - it's your responsibility. I suggest you ditch the 19" wheels and get some proper wheels.
If you belong to the bigger is better school then 17" is as big as you want to go on an S2000.

By any chance did you buy the one that was advertised in Burwood? If so do you mind if I ask what you paid? Also post pics! I wont let people flame you I promise
I actually tried to contact the seller on sat and he didn't return so I assumed that it was sold. That was pretty fast wasn't it? I only seen it advertised this week.
There's one GPW in the states with 19s that I actually really like however I'm guessing that yours are chrome

A new one from Honda spare parts will cost over $1000. (That's EACH, not the set!)
As a very general guide you should expect to pay around $1000 for a set of 4 used wheels. Price will vary up or down from that depending on how many scratches and what sort of rubber.
