Hi guys, I'm posting on behalf of Andrew Harris who is the RX8 Club President and thought that some of you might be interested in an upcoming Winton track day.

For those interested, the RX-8 track day would be one of the best organised ones to attend. With a max of 35 cars, your guarenteed plenty of track time.

OK guys, we are underway for our first track day of the year. There are 35 positions for this day.

The price is $175 for drivers and $25 for passengers (There will be 2 passenger sessions).

The day will run in 3 groups based on expected times. Each session will run roughly 15 min on the track plus a cool down lap. Sessions will be signaled using start/finish line lights and a full set of flags at pit exit.

Entry form can be found here. The form includes payment details. Your position is not guaranteed until payment and entry form are received.

If you havent been on one of our days they are packed full of track time and good times We pride ourselves on our safety record and on track behaviour.

I went with the RX8 guys last year and it was a good day with not many cars. Though last year they allowed passengers in all the sessions ... has that changed this year?

ps. If it was a month or 2 later I'd join them again.

Wow, so many turboed RX8's already. I guess it's no surprise given its lack of performance

This is Andrew's response to passengers:
"Yes its changed. From a liability point of view we have to have dedicated sessions."

I'll be sure to post some laptimes up after the day for comparisons sake.
