Thanks
That was my second trip to Japan and Shinjuku, loved it.
My first trip there 2 years ago and did visit Hokaido and had hot spring bath with a bunch of naked japanese men with mountain Fuji on the backdrop. That was quite an experience
On this trip I took about 650 photos of Japan and that wasn't enough in my opinion. Anyway, I will upload more photo later
Happy New Year.

I just went to Osaka and Nara over my winter vacation. I live in Okayama prefecture usually. It all depends on what u wana see.
I really loved Nara, the original capital, its full of temples and shrines, and a million deer. Very beautiful place and very traditional.
Osaka was interesting, but farking ugliest, dirtiest place ive ever been to in Japan. Went the Universal Studios and Aquarium. If you do go to Osaka, i really enjoyed looking around Namba.
heres some pics of Nara

that was my suggestion as well... go to kyoto if you can...
but if you can not, go to shinsaibashi...it's a very trendy area of osaka.. if you can find the kirin building, that's worth a photo as well (that's the black building where the Michael Douglas film, Black Rain, was filmed back in the 90's..
Osaka castle is very pretty.
Kyoto is a great place to visit as well, although I doubt you'll be able to see Kyoto in one day.

The Glico sign?
Yup.. that building is pretty cool looking.. there are some very famous landmarks around there (great takoyaki stand), and some good noodle shops..
oh.. and of course, I saw this parked there~
