The castle is definitely worth seeing, as is the Aquarium.

Have a look here for more ideas

For restaurants and nightlife, Bento and Gnavi (links already given) have guides on Osaka (Kansai). Also check out http://www.seekjapan.jp/bars-restaurants-kansai

Also, if you're going to Osaka, you should definitely visit Kyoto...

that was my suggestion as well... go to kyoto if you can...

but if you can not, go to shinsaibashi...it's a very trendy area of osaka.. if you can find the kirin building, that's worth a photo as well (that's the black building where the Michael Douglas film, Black Rain, was filmed back in the 90's..

Osaka castle is very pretty.

Kyoto is a great place to visit as well, although I doubt you'll be able to see Kyoto in one day.

Got to Osaka 2 days already and just came back rom Kyoto this evening. The foods in Osaka are great and Kyoto definately the oldest and most preserved... Saw a lot of smaller cars and a couples of 34GTR skylines. Hate to leave this place but tomorrow I will head to HongKong for Xmas then back to the States.

Thank you for the tips guys. Let me know when ya'll get a chance to come to Houston Texas
