Hey for those of you who are in the military what bases are you at in Japan? I spent 7 years at Misawa.

Auto parts? I have no clue out that way. The last time I was out there Misawa was still mostly surrounded by country. So I don't know of any places to buy parts at. Its great up there though. You'll enjoy it.

I am heading over to Misawa in October. Are there any bigger towns or public transportation close to base to get to where parts would be? I'm looking for lots of stuff so that I don't have to pay the rediculous shipping to Alaska from the lower 48.

Im in kadena, been to masawa a couple times this deployment but i have no idea... Yokosuka's the place to be for car parts! I was stationed there for 2 years. ASM has a show room in yokosuka, just 30 minutes away by train. But everything is right there. Anyone know where i can get some parts here in Okinawa?

I have a friend who works for Exchange New Car Sales in Okinawa and he told me they mostly import parts from the states since its cheaper. Abuse your APO AP box and ship everything to there.

I will be stioned at Kadena starting on Aug 26th, I had to leave my M3 in the states but I plan on picking up something decent in Okinawa.

Hey BlownJRock I have seen a few S2ks around don't know if they are part of S2ki.com or not. Plenty of cars to choose from when you get here.

edit post: I may have seen snafu4286 if that was you at American Village parked this past weekend. Don't know if your bone stock but that one looked like it.
