Thumbs down Japanese CO Election 07'

Ok Guys!
We need to find someone to start running the Japanese Forums on the board. I have been living in Japan for over 2 years now and am about to leave but would love to tackle the challange but first would like to point out a few things about the forum and myself:

1. There is not a whole lot of activity within this forum.
2. Having club activities would be impossible, given the size of where we are and the lack of location specific owners.
3. I will not be in Japan for much longer, but don't mind keeping track of the forum so that way at least someone is keeping up with what's going on.
4. I have been a CO before and have almost 4 years with s2ki as a Gold Member.
5. When I leave Japan for good and another forum member in good standings is willing to take over, I will step down.
6. I will only asign badges to a member that has actually lived in Japan, loving where the car came from is great, but it will make the badge not as unique!!
7. I don't want to be the only choice and would love to find someone that will be in Japan to run things.

I don't think I am the best choice since I am leaving, but someone needs to do it. Post and let me know what you think, be it good or bad! I will do all I can to hlep out s2ki.

Please post suggestions or recommendations!

(The final decision will be left up for Admin and myself to discuss after we see what everyone thinks.)

This could be a very cool forum. If there are actually S2000
owners in Japan, posting, we here stateside may have access
to some new, normally unavailable, information.

I lived in Japan for 3 years, and now travel back once a year
or so. My base there is Yokohama (actually Hiyoshi), but I
have yet to go to the ASM salon..

Based on the number of replies so far (zero), this is not looking
too positive. Aren't there more Japanophile S2K owners?

I think im the only American down in Yokosuka that has an S2K. I dont think they want to spend that kind of money when they are only going to be here for a couple of years.
