sounds good. i still need to confirm with my mom on her availability to watch the kids... once that's done, i'll be sending my check and ordering the wrist thing...
by next week, i should know for sure what's the plan.
last i looked -- 101 cars.

definitely sounds like it will be wild...
we should finalize plans sometime this weekend... the hotel we went w/ has a continental breakfast, but i wouldn't mind skipping it for something a bit more substantial.

Cracker Barrel ranks high for my wife i can assure you.
i have a pretty nice set of radios myself... actually, 1 is mine as Brashland and i split a set. so, i'm good for a radio or possibly 2.
my only concern regarding the Cracker Barrell will be in and out times.
also approx. 5 pm arrival = 8 hrs drive time (Google estimated) + 1 hr time change + 1 hr random gas, bio breaks, and sandwich lunch = about 9-9.5 hrs total. so, i'm thinking we should be gassed and rolling around 7:30 am. i'm SO not a morning person.
i'm thinking a 5pm arrival will give us check-in time, quick shower/freshen up/change, rest, track down friends, and ready for dinner around 7pm.

Looks like y'all will hit the big enforcement weekend for the season.
Three injured motorcyclists were airlifted from U.S. 129 Friday by Lifestar and two more on Saturday (4/16). Almost all the crashes occurred on the Dragon, the 11-mile section of the highway between Tab Cat Creek and the North Carolina state line famous in motorcycling circles for its 318 curves...
According to Tail of the Dragon, ``BCSO (Blount County Sheriff's Office) began a stricter enforcement in the afternoon (on Friday) -- and we can't blame them. If you are coming to the Dragon this weekend, we advise you to ride safe and within the law.''..
The Monday (4/18) crash is the fifth one on The Dragon since Friday. There were three motorcycle crashes on Friday, and the fourth happened about 1 p.m. Saturday and involved Edmund Ware, 51, Taylor, S.C., and wife, Sylvia Ware, 46...
