James is right. For the quality and look of the Fujitsubo, the price is unbeatable. The price of a new one is already great. I'll be looking forward to seeing the Fuji on your car Phil

phil, i'm sure you'll be very pleased with it, it's the closest thing to oem.

but yeah, it's funny how modding is one thing after another. for me, most of them were unexpected, but they were just too good of a deal to pass up!

*note to self* - stop looking in the fs forum

yeah, i had to learn to avoid the FS forum as well.... Ken just ganged up on me because he knew i've wanted an exhaust for a while...

i'll probably go pick it up this weekend (if i can arrange it), and install it sometime later in the near future. my Sat evening and most of Sunday are committed, but a morning run to fetch it shouldn't be a problem.

my only concern now is... with 70k+ on the OEM exhaust, am i going to have a bitch of a time breaking those bolts.

hrm, Ken i should have asked on the phone... does it come w/ any special hardware, gaskets, or bolts for the post cat flange?

It has a gasket for post cat. Just remove the three bolts on the cat and the OEM comes off. Quick with air tools.

just have wd-40 available at the time of installation, since it will be your best friend for the 3 rusty bolts as well as the rubber hangers.

The WD40 worked great on the hangers! This was my third exhaust on this car. I also found it easier with rear wheels off. With the car on stands and the rear wheels off, I took the front wheels off and bled the brakes.

WD-40... noted.
i may have to acquire some Kroil to help break them loose. at the moment, i have no clue as to what condition they are in...

air tools...

gasket...

(still haven't cleared the trip w/ the wife yet, as we're ducking out for an evening 'getaway' that night... i don't see a problem w/ it though, as we won't be leaving till late afternoon.)
