Tech day August 6th, Sat 10 am
It is that time of the year again...... I always change out most, if not all, of the fluids in July.....
Am planning on doing brakes, oil, diff, clutch, and maybe antifreeze/coolant.
Will also probably check my valve clearance....
anyone interested in a Tech day?

i could use a differential and clutch fluid change out... not to mention a possible need for new brake pads... i'll have them checked for thickness next week when i get my oil changed.

My dealer just changed all my fluids (trans, rear diff, oil) pads and brake fluid this week to help get over the track day at Sebring. (I went back to stock pads as the Cobalt GTs really squeel). I also had a low speed mis-fire in #1 & 2 cylinders, so they replaced my injectors (under warranty). Everything runs fine now
However, Philip - I still want you to snip the wire so I don't have to stop to put the top up. (I should have let you do that in TN)

not a problem. it was kinda drizzly at SESM, and after i top-up'ed and top-down'ed a few times, i had a line of people for me to do it. i did something like 9 of those mods in about 90 minutes. most of the time was spent pulling the 1 panel and me explaining the possibility of that panel breaking (it costs about $12).
it really is an easy mod to do... want me to link you to the appropriate thread?

COOL! I just did a lot of work to my car before that last day at NPR. Since I don't drive it every day I am good to go. I need major stuff done to mine now... like a new clutch!!!
I will be more than happy to attend and lend a hand.
