Default Political Predictions

Ok, so im bored at work and I thought I'd make a topic on who people think will be the pair of P-VP nominees for both the Democrats and Republicans. I'll just throw out my unqualified opinion: Hillary and Obama seem to be at odds in the Democratic party, and McCain seems to have the majority of Republican party. I personally think Hillary will win the Democratic nomination and if the media can forget about the slanders between the two, she'll pick Obama for a running mate (Maybe im a little off, haven't spent much time in the news lately.) I think McCain will win the Republican Nominee and pick either Romney or Huckabee for a running mate (If they are both still running, lol, Again, not sure if I know what im talking about.) Not trying to breakout into a heated discussion, just bored at work and trying to pass some time...

I think you are right on the Republican side. McCain needs a fanatical neo-con as a running mate to win back some of the far right vote. I expect it to be the Huck.

As for Hillary and Obama, I doubt either will eb a "running mate." I expect Obama will get the nod in the end. If Hillary wins the nomination and has to run against McCain, she may very well lose the election as McCain appeals to moderate democrats as much if not more so than Hillary does. Obama, on the other hand, will probably win overall if he gets the democatic nod.

Obama president VP ummm idk yet tho i don't think it'll be Hillary b/c of how much they've gone at each other. and even IF the media forgot about all the things they said (which they wont) for sure the Republicans wouldnt let it all die down. But i still say Obama will win the nomination.

Republican ticket is easier. McCain President, VP Huckabee as long as they dont start attacking each other too much.

on a side note, I just saw Bill Clinton in person. He was here at Stephen F. Austin trying to get everyone to vote for Hillary. He preached about people losing their houses, health care, and some other stuff that I can't remember right now, I went in a little tipsy , It was crazy the amount of Secret Service they had there. We even had our campus bicycle cops on patrol. Even though im not in agreement with his views, it was interesting to see some one like him in the flesh...
