ok guys, finally had some time to take a few pics. I think it looks great. Allen's did a great job. This is the 5th repair I've had done by them (2 on the S) and have been totally pleased with all of their work. Also, when I went pick up the car last week, he was doing work on a Ferrari F50, apparently I'm not the only one who thinks this guy does the best work around.

(sorry the pics are so large, I'm used of viewing with a large monitor)

wow... that really does look like a great match on the paint. and the lines are pretty close to perfect.

i'm still not sure what i think of the 2004 bumper though... i like some aspects, but i'm just not sold 100%.

still, it looks really good...

looks great.....

now comes the hard part. letting the paint cure for 4-6 weeks before you start waxing/zaino-ing again

When the 04's came out, I wasnt completely sold on the changes, but the main noticable thing about the front bumper is that the taper (on the sides) isnt as severe as the 1st gen. Dont know if you guys get what I'm saying, but the curvature as you go from the center of the bumper to each left & right sides is not nearly as great with the 04. Hence, when looking at the car from the front, its a wider looking more aggressive look. my opinion only of course.

i see what you're pointing about about the taper...

i had noticed the effect, but hadn't spent enough time w/ an '04 to figure out why... i wonder if that's truly a change in the taper or if it's a optical illusion w/ the relocation of the fake brake ducts...

as a personal note, i like the '04 rear bumper quite a bit, but the '04 front bumper just leaves me unsure...
