Well a buddy emailed this to me. IT is in PDF format and the graphics suck, but you can get the just of it. It is a collection of pictured from Hurricane Ivan.

Oh yeah, I recognize a lot of that. The first picture is of the main road going towards the beach in Gulf Shores (Highway 59). The road that you can see in the picture is the bridge next to the Oyster House.

The Dollar General store was in North Foley and back in the late 80's it was a Drug Store that I managed.

This area is a mess. Our house was right on the eastern side of the eye. Even two miles west of us things aren't nearly as bad as they are here. It's almost from our steet east that things really get bad.

Yeah, the ghetto is like that. One street has million dollar homes, then the next street over is a slum...

I've heard that your yard always looks like the pictures posted. Hey, it's just what I've heard...

Some of those highway pictures are like a bad dream for any vehicle owner.

I showed the wife pics of the house but had to skip past the '15 horses' comment. What is it with women and horses?
Anyime you guys are over this way we can introduce her to the horses. I don't know what it is about women and horses but if I'd known how many cute females were ALWAYS around horses I'd have gotten into them much sooner.

We may even bring the horse over there for a show or clinic. You could bring her to that.

If you're ever within an hour of Baton Rouge let me know. I'd like to see you again and Angie would love to see the horses. Even if it's a livestock show or something (I'm not sure what you have the horses for) we'd make the trip.
