I'm agree with Mike on this: R-comps are the last thing you need right now. Honestly, a 49.X run has nothing to do with your tires, and everything to do with your driving. Good thing is that improving your driving is a whole lot cheaper than R-comps.
Definitely don't get R-comps at this point: they just hide fundamental driving mistakes. If you're seeing oversteer with the S2000 (who hasn't?), then it's probably what you're going with the steering wheel, not the brake pedal.
