When are we having another school? Mike, you might almost be qualified to instruct by now.

As far as another autocross school, I believe they mentioned having one later this year... perhaps sometime in the summer like last year?

We're always trying to attract new drivers. But as far as anyone from here attending, I wouldn't count on anyone besides Benson and I... Brett in the MS3 (Nil-S2K) will most likely be there as well. Even if you find that you don't have the time to participate this time, just come out and see what it's all about. Buy a hotdog and enjoy watching a few spins. Hope to see you there.
Mike
PS - If you participate I'm almost positive you will be finished before 6.

If you show, be sure to catch a ride with Benson or myself... and don't be shy. Ask for instruction and tips, talk to the other drivers, etc...
I think a lot of people are put off of participating just because they are nervous. I was no exception. Don't let it get to you. These are the things that I can promise you:
-You wont be the only new driver there.
-You wont be the only driver to spin out.
-The nerves will demising after your first run.
-YOU WILL HAVE FUN!

^^^You forgot to advice them to get there early to walk the course several times. If not, once you re on the course you will be overwhelmed by the sea of cones.

And the "sea of cones" sounds worse than it is. I've only DNF'd once due to navigation. That is exactly why I advise walking with someone who can show them how to concentrate on crucial course elements and eliminate cones that will only confuse them.
