Default cracked radiator

i popped my hood today and noticed that there was coolant spread over the stock airbox and underside of hood. if you have any suggestions of maybe a temporary solution to this problem. it is located underneath the fill part of the radiator about and inch and is about 2 inches long. should i purchase a new radiator or is there a temp solution. any thing can help thanks. thomas

It sounds like you need a new radiator. 2005 might still be under warranty depending on your mileage. If not, I would get a Koyo radiator for around $300 and install it myself.

The temp is only going to go up if there isn't enough coolant to cool the engine down.
I'm no mechanic, but you may be able to use some kind of sealant until you can buy a new radiator.

wht ever u do, do not run any kind of temp fix inside the actual coolant system, due to the fact that it goes inside the block and clog your water pump or cause your thermostat to stick ask any technician. If u jb weld you need to remove the radiator anyway cause its not going to dry properly still on the car with coolant in it, so its better off to replace and if your car is still bumber to bumber warranty get it replaced for free, ''GIT R DONE''
