Yeah I usually go through National, but they sent me to enterprise. I know Rocky and a couple other girls that work up there.

that's right. Forgot about that. Well you were wanting to get rid of the car I know, but not like this. Is the water still building up?

Nah it went down, I have seen it get pretty high during Rita, but never as bad as it was last night. Now I know why my house requires flood insurance.

My dad called me last night (lives in shreveport) and was saying how he saw people stranded on youree with water up to their windows at some low points in the road. I thought he might've been exaggerating but seeing the picture, maybe not. He said he had to go all different ways to get back home, lol. But man, glad all you guys and your cars (except for the truck, R.I.P. ) are ok.

Little did I know that while I was posting the enhanced picture that water was underneath my feet. I went to bed. Woke up to go to the bathroom and stepped in water. I've been spending the whole day helping rip up carpet in my house and moving furniture. I just now got my room all back into order. Will have concrete floors for now... We've got several special effects movie fans that my brother got from the prop warehouse he works at. Trying to dry out everything we can. Luckily nothing major was lost. I went out as soon as I found out and noticed some leaves on the side of my house created a dam against the neighbors gate. Which caused the water to rise about 8-10 inches above the foundation. I'll be moving into my apartment on June 20th so kinda got a early move on things.
