Default Bad storm, SRT is safe but my truck is dead

We were watching a movie during the storm when I heard my truck alarm going off. I thought somebody was trying to jack my ****, so I ran outside and saw the picture below..

The water came pretty close to the house, but thankfully the rain let off. The Srt was safe in the garage on the high side of the property but I am scared to see what the rest of the week holds since more rain is on the way. Might want to relocate her somewhere. Sadly I can't do the same with my house.

Ouch man, hopefully everything turns out the best it can. I would get the SRT away from what might come.

I edited the photo to see better.

Wow, good thing the SRT is safe. That water looks pretty damn high.

I live on a small hill, but there is a drainage ditch that runs along my property which apparently didn't work so well tonight. I submitted a claim online and hope to hear from the insurance people in the morning.

Sucks man. Water is crazy. I had a friend get stranded on her way home last night. She was wading through water up to her waist and her dog was swimming beside her.
After the rain let up last night, Kirk and I took the truck out exploring. Of course I forgot my camera, but went and looked at multiple drainage ditches: Stratmore ditch, almost full; Ditch behind Holmes, almost full, and from the same ditch where it runs under the bert kouns bridge is almost level with the bridge.

I got a hold of the insurance company and they are having a high volume of claims due to the freak storm last night, so it might be several days before the claims adjustor can make it. It dumped six inches of rain in two hours They said it is a good possiblity my truck will be totalled since the water was so high. It was immaculate, only 14k miles fully loaded single cab now it is full of sewage water and I'm sure the electrical system is ruined. If they do total it I will be fighting to get the maximum worth, because it was showroom clean. Also the rental car company doesn't have any cars to rent right now, because half of their fleet was destroyed as well. I'm covered for 30 days so hopefully I can get this all wrapped up and get my truck back or find something new.
