haha, I've heard the story of that guy before. I forget which it was but either he had over tightened his lug nuts causing the studs to stretch and weaken, or he needed longer studs for those aftermarket wheels and they weren't rated properly.... I saw a 60s Vette lose a wheel once at an event. Lucky for him it was when he was braking right after the finish. Luckly we saw the front corner of the car drop and we got him stopped so the front hub was just chillin on the inside of his wheel. What happened with him was he had gotten new studs to fit his race wheels but they were threaded too much so the wheel was sitting on threads not a solid portion like it should, found 6 other studs on other corners nearly cracked thru.

Just curious who all is planning on going. I'll be there to hang out and probably volunteer a bit, but I doubt I'll be running my car. My tires are almost worn out and my brakes are getting low. Will be nice to see everybody, though.

Sounds like we should have a pretty good showing, I think 3 or 4 of us are getting breakfast at Ihop at 7:30 but it sounds like there should be 6 or 7 at the event itself. Lookin forward to meeting everyone

Actually, I don't know which class I would be in. If I just have an intake, header, exhaust and rotors. What class would I be in?
