Default Yay, got hit in the parking lot today

Luckily its only slight gouges and all on the bumper cover itself.

This either happened at Costco or the restaurant we stopped at tonight. Didn't notice it til we were in the driveway at home.

I love people!

I'm thinking of just taking it to the Maaco place in town to see what they estimate the cost, hoping its not too much.

$500 deductible on insurance, and I can't imagine it will cost anywhere near that, so I'm not going to bother with insurance and risk them raising rates because of a claim.

Paint repair is one of those things that you pay for what you get.

Time for a widebody kit!

People suck. Someone did 10 times worse than that to my new Civic years ago, no note or anything. They scraped the from driver's door back to the rear tire.

I had something similiar happen to my company car several years ago. I parked it at a customers house along the street. Came back after a round of golf and there was a note on my window. Turns out his neighbor accross the street left the note stating they backed into the car. Just a bit of info to show there actually are some responsible folks out there. With that said I'm sorry that this didn't happen in your case my friend. I can only imagine how you feel.....I know how I would feel if this had happened to my car. I take extreme personal pride in my car as I'm sure you do as well. Hopefully the repairs are reasonable and the quality of work performed meets your standards.

It looks like it's actually scratched and dented but I'm no bodywork expert. You COULD just put a sticker over it however.
