Default XactDyno S2000 KPro Tuning

Anyone here had a KPro tuned on their S2000 locally?

Or another car tuned with a KPro?

boof did the hondata reflash

i talked to tim at xactdyno and he was saying its very duable... so i looked into it and it requires you switch out a couple of sensors, the ecu to an rsx ecu, and go with the kpro... the problem i found was it was cheaper to go aem ems. by about $200. thats what i was able to figure out.

\/\/\/ The kpro mod for the s2000 isn't like the others where to solder in pins and stuff, you can't do anything about the stock ecu except the reflash for the 06's... he may have some insight and info for ya though. i would just recommend the aem ems and the modifry to fix the temp gauge and you are set, and you have a full stand-a-lone

I'd goto Joe at locashracing.com , he's done all my ecu mods for my other Hondas when I owned them

The only benefit to putting the money into the Hondata KPro is that it's OBDII compliant for emissions testing. The AEM EMS is not and will fail emissions since the OBDII port is unused by the EMS.

OBDII is the primary reason for looking into the K-Pro over the EMS. I am currently talking to Joe at LCR and Tim at Xact - will likely boil down to who I feel more comfortable with.

i would recommend tim, as i have seen him do hundreds of ecu's and he has even done mine personally. very satisfied with him. before i went to tim, i tried locash and he never called me back. i tried for about 3 months and never hearsd back... very poor communication in my book, so i won't go with him for anything. Since then i have never liked the company, first impression... which lasted months, was horrible... i don't know their quality of work, because it never got that far, but i can tell you tim at xactdyno is the guy who can get this done for you. tell him wade sent ya, he should take great care of you if you know what i mean

Why not Tony at UMS?

I have not dealt with Joe but everyone in town speaks very highly of him and his experience with Hondas.

Locash and Xact are the only ones listed as auth vendors for Hondata.

I have actually had work done at Dynocomp and was quite happy - may check to see what their experience is with KPRO's

Tim was running the dyno at PIR and seemed to be quite knowledgeable about the KPro.

Let me know how it all works out, I'm interested in the KPro, just not sure if it's worth the $$$ over the eManage Ultimate.
