I got my set of Ace's killed and my pocket queens killed as well. I had to push short stack in the S/B with pocket 3's only to go up against pocket K's. I know that I have quite a bit to work on. Only good thing is this sat. we play for another seat to a 1500 wsop event. Either way I plan to go again next year.

If you are interested we play everyother week on Saturday. Starts at 7pm till ususally around 11 or so. We play in a 3 house rotation. 2 orf the 3 are right next to eachother and on the N/W side of Tucson so that helps if you want to come down. Off Cortaro. The other is far east side. The new series for the wsop run starts next Sat. the 26th. If you want to make it some time just pm me and I will get you more info. We play for $60 for the wsop each time or $40 just for the Year end tournement of champions (the 60 is in include for the year end champions event as well as the wsop). Food and drinks are covered and it is ran pretty well. Most of the guys are older gents but are a good group of guys. Usually around 14-18 ppl and women can play as well. ( my girl's a player). Money is paid out that night for 3-4 spots.

That's pretty cool.
I will let you know when I have a chance.. Cortaro is not far at all.

Yeah $60 per Saturday. Not everyone plays for a wsop seat so they just pay $40 per Sat. They have points leader for wsop and year end event. The cool thing is if you win on Sat. that puts you in the event to play for the wsop seat. This Saturday there is only a total of 7 guys playing that have won on a Saturday. So the winner of the 7 goes and I got in as player with the most points who didnt win a Saturday event. (came in 2nd twice). The wsop seat event is about 2 times a year and every winner on a Saturday is qualified for the Year end Champs event that happens the following January.
