Wheel Color
Ok, so I have chosen a new set of wheels and I know for sure that I want to powdercoat them a metallic color. (No debate needed on PC'ing cast wheels, I have done lots of research and found a shop I believe I trust. I do not track my car, it is for occasional weekend cruises only and I feel comfortable with my choice).
I had it set in my mind that I was going to have them done in a nice purple color, (I'm a girl and that's my favorite color), however recently I feel like I'm seeing a LOT of cars online with purple wheels.
I also LOVE navy blue, and think that could be different and nice looking with my SSM paint. In the far distant future I might wrap my car white, which I think would look especially good with blue.
So what is everyone's opinions? Is purple too played out, or because I am a girl is it still ok? Would Navy be too dark?

I wouldn't worry about purple being played out, it's not like you see a car with purple wheels at every corner. I would get that if it's really what you like the best. I do think the blue would look better on silverstone though.

I've had two sets for 5 years no problems You should not have any worries about the wheels holding up. I had one set redone being the same wheels and have zero problems. if they are going over 500 degrees or something you could have a problem but I don't imagine anything going wrong.
As far as color goes, do you have any accents to go with the blue or purple. Do you have an old junky wheel ? If so you can always buy a spray can of the color code you want, spray it on the wheel and put it up to your car. That way what you expect to get and what you actually get wont be a surprise. Good luck

Also, I did the spray purple on junk wheels. I like it, (On the wheels in sig pic) but I like the blue too, haha. I've PS'd both with the wheels I want as well. They are rather unique to the S, I've only seen 2 running these wheels, one has sold them since, one is in the UK. I know there will be a lot of opinions about the wheels, so I'd rather not reveal the choice, but I am very confident in my decision.
