What is a good color for Phoenix??
I was wondering what color I should get for my S2K.
Blk/Blk
Blk/Red
Red/Blk
Yellow/Blk
Silv/Red
Silv/Blk
Thanks for the replies.
I was also wondering should I put a deposit down for an S2K now if I am planning on buying in March. Some people have said I should so that I could get the color that I want but I am having a hard time trying to decide.

My $.02 -- get the color you want! At 115 degrees, my experience is that the car is frickin' hot, whether black or white. It just doesn't make a difference.
Just my opinion. Congrats on being ready to make the purchase.

It's all personal preference...I chose silver for several reasons...asside from the fact that I thought the color looked the best it also doesn't show dirt and dust as much and it definitly hides rock chips a lot better than other colors...both of these come in real handy in Arizona...but like I said it's all personal preference.

Go with the White/red combo first and Spa/blk 2nd..................of course the Suz blue will look really GREAT out west ..................anything but black. I drove a white car in Albuquerque for years and the heat never bothered me

When I moved here, I vowed "never" to get another car with a dark color/dark interior combo...
My old car was Charcoal Grey Int&Ext.
But, I ended up with a black interior for the S2k and it's actually not that bad (probably because the cabin is small - it cools off very easily). In any case, I either park in covered parking or cover my car >95% of the time so it makes some difference!
You're gonna love this car; any pain from the heat will melt away because you'll be grinning when you're driving

I've had no problems with the White/Red (which is, of course, the best and rarest of the available colors) during the summer. I did notice that the red leather was never too hot to sit on, even when sitting with the top down in direct sunlight for an extended period of time - I don't know if this is true of the black... The only thing I would watch out for is the shifter - they get insanely hot when in the sun for even a short period of time.
...oh, and get the Titanium shifter. It rules. I thought it would just be minor change to the tactile feel, but the different wieght of the Titanium shifter actually changes how shifting feels - much smoother, in my humble opinion...
