**EDIT** FYI, I will not tolerate any cop bashing in my thread.
whats up guys.
got popped in my G20 going 52 in a 40 on rio salado in tempe by a bike cop...
sucks. I'm eligible for traffic school so i'm going to prob take that choice.
my two questions are
1. on the time he wrote 1032 pm instead of 1032 am ... will that hold up in court"??? I remember talking to Doc and he seemed very very knowledgable about the law.
2. he also wrote me a ticket for no reg. Which is wierd cuz I handed him current reg papers as well as the CC slip that said that I paid for it. he stated that my tags were not good for "highway use" and bascially he said that it was useless. He said something about going tot he DMV and just get it cleared up. but he still wrote me the ticket
Overall He was a prime example of an orndinary gentleman doing his job, which happened to be enforcing the law. extremely courteous and assertive at the same time. Cops like that are what makes me satisfied that my tax money is going towards something useful.

I think you can beat the rap. Show up, put on the glove, show them it doesn't fit and tell them - if it don't fit, you can't convict!
You may be stuck for the speeding ticket...

actually...
i forgot what its called, but you can go to the post office and fill this form out. if the cop doesn't respond to it, your off. but if he does, go to the next step
POSTPONE! POSTPONE! POSTPONE! the more you push the court date back, the less and less likely the officer will be to show up. and after a while, his recollection of the incident gets hazy.
thats just my opinion, i could be wrong.

Yep - take your punishement and go to traffic school.
Regarding the registration issue - you will need to go to DMV and get that issue resolved and probablty show up in court to show the corrective action info to the judge.

They take notes about EACH ticket they give. All they have to do is review their notes...
You can only postpone once and changing your address at the post office won't do you any good when you have a warrant out for your arrest.
