For those with Hard tops
I bought mine in England and was given new front strikers from an 00. I hear the metal was softer on them. It would shake and make noise from the get go and we even adjusted it by the book.
I tried to lock tight the strikers in, use washers and had it good for a while. Then I took it off while I rolled top down and put it back on and again it would rattle and shake and the strikers felt loose.
So 1Nate7 said I should try the hardtop strikers which I did from Hardtopguy. They look a bit different and I bought new screws as well.
Man I didnt even have to adjust anything....no more rattle and they are on tight.
Also I was told to undo the fronts when you jack your car up.

Cool, glad it worked out for you. They also work wonders if you have a loose connection and wind noise between your windshield frame and convertible top. I can barely latch the soft top it's so tight now.

I'm having rain troubles with mine today. the rear window is leaking! so I called the guy who installed it and am waiting for a response.
I need a weekend to just fiddle with it and make it fit right.
