This is going to be changed to... "ON HOLD" pending more intrest from members.
If anyone in the East valley wants to hang we still may be doing something locally at someones house Friday night. PM me for more info!

I really kind of need some help and am actually willing to host if people bring tools... Does anyone know if light occasional driving with 'the dreaded axel click' going to severely hurt my car :'(

I say find out what the issue is first and what needs to be done first.
If it is DIY job we can give you a hand when you have the parts and are ready to do the job...
Just throw up a post!

Copied from thread:
If you can hear it, it's not a big deal (creaking splines in the rear wheel hub).
If you can feel it, then it's the inner CV joints (shakes on accel).
Four possible categories:
1. You hear no clicking and you feel no shaking on accel = Do nothing.
2. You hear clicking but feel no shaking = Spray penetrating oil in to wheel hub splines.
3. You hear no clicking but have the shaking = Replace inner CV joint on left side (minimum).
4. You hear clicking and have shaking = Do both 3 & 4 to fix it.
