Study business at ASU?
Hey guys,
I was looking for a little insight into a dilema im having... I have two very glaring oportunities, I can study business at ASU and run a company in town making lots of money after just 4 years, or I can go to the naval academy.... both are amazing options, and Im leaning more toward ASU, does anyone have any insight or help for me?

If you can get in to the Academy, go there. I know at this time you might only be considering it as school, but look in to the future. Work for the Navy for 20 years, and get a pretty nice pension till you die. There are a lot of times I regret not sticking it out in ROTC because if I had, I'd figure I'd be a Mgr. by now, and might retire as a LtCol. and I would retire at age 42. (8 more years away) My father has always told me the service isn't what it used to be, but who am I to argue with a lifer. I guess I have quite a few years on you but consider your options, because you can't go back in time to change your mind.

business college is for those who fail their first major. heh, no offense to any business majors.
But pretty much anyone who can graduate high school can get a degree in business at ASU. It doesn't require much work. A lot of my friends are business majors and they hardly ever have homework or studying to do.
So if you have a really nice job lined up that pays well, going to business school would probably be a good easy route to success. I dunno much about the Naval Academy, but I would expect it to be really tough. I think it is really hard to get into, so if you are smart enough for it and are in, I would go for that. Pension is key.
Oh yea, and the girls at ASU are amazing

Man! I can't even believe you posted this question. GO NAVY!!! There's no comparison to me. Naval Academy all the way baby. All of the military academies have generated some great leaders and people. I'm still kickinmyself for passing it up my senior year in high school. I eded up @ UofA and ended up in IT. Pay is great, but no flare or adventures like the Military would of bought. Any fools can can get into ASWho? It takes a lot of guts, honor, and discipline to survive the academy. Step up man! Be the best....
