Default Stock S2k's

Since I'd read the other thread about a user returning to stock, I was wondering how many others have stock S2k's?
If you did modify yours, what about the stock setup didn't you like?

For reference I drive an 03 AP1 with 69k miles and it's 99% stock

Some day when I can own a second S2000, it will be an 02-03 and be left completely stock!!

I didnt leave my current car stock because I enjoy modify cars, and I wanted to extract a little more performance, looks, etc from the car. It has nothing to do with not liking the S2K in stock form as its an awesome car, but I wanted just a little more out of it.

Audio system was the first to go. Did not like the head unit or speakers. I just couldn't stop after that.

Define "stock." Everyone's interpretation is probably different.

Mine is maybe closest to stock look compared to most. All I've got is an FIPK, HFC & Flashpro. Mods which made the car drive and sound like it should have come from the factory. But even something as simple as an alignment or changing the HU is still a mod.

Sometimes I feel like I'm driving a pickup truck when parking with the group!

Agree everyone might have a slight difference in interpretation. It might be better to classify the type of mod. Such as Engine mod vs suspension mod vs cosmetic vs HU etc.

I have none of the former some of the latter. I think most have the Radio mod at least.

. I don't like the ride height, or AP1 wheels, or the sound of the stock exhaust, or the sound of the stock intake, or the inability to flash the stock AP1 ECU. Hence the reason I changed them.

I like to think the same way about my car... it should have come from the factory in its present condition. At least available as options from the dealer. Like a yenko camaro.
