As quick as I got around the course, I was still sand-bagging it on the throttle in many places due to a lack of familiarity with the course and not wanting to suffer the 4 wheel rule. I'll have data logging sorted after this weekend hopefully and will be able to get useable information from my runs from now on.
My comments were geared towards overall, how to approach the sport.
Datalogging is cool. I still haven't used it much but once I get a new phone, I'll probably attempt it again. I mainly just datalog engine temps and rpm now with Torque Pro. The GPS line data and speed isn't all that accurate but is fun to look at every once in a while. I generally don't look at it bt runs. I'd really like to get a new Go Pro3 or maybe something similar but I have some other car mods to buy before that since I already have a go-pro.

The bluetooth GPS receiver is the way to go and can be setup with not much effort. I really like when it's used with Video and car data showing RPM, speed and placement on track. fun stuff.
