There was a normal amount of nice builds but nothing extraordinary.
May be partially to the fact that no new tuner friendly cars have come out in the last year.
Rocket Bunny FR-S' everywhere you look as usual and the Liberty Walk widebodies prevailed.
Stuff that made me pause:
- Pagani Huayra (all carbon fiber version, 1 of 1?)
- LB Walk 458, GTR, Murci, M3
- Ben Sopra GTR
- Bulletproof / Amuse / Varis FR-S
- Garrett Turbo 1400hp K24 drag EG hatch
- Carbon fiber body '66 Mustang fastback
- 2JZ 2014 Lexus IS
- 2JZ Greddy FR-S
- Various Bisimoto builds
As far as tech, the industrial area was all about vinyl, different wrap methods, and products to clear yellowed headlights.
I was tempted by a funky belt-driven wrench extender but they wanted $50 and it only held up to ~40 ft/lbs.
I walked through the new product showcase and didn't really see anything "new".
Maybe someone else found something I missed?
Meguiar's is coming out with a tire shine in their Ultimate class. This held nice and wet on their demo cars. I'm looking forward to trying it but I'm sure Feezy already has something from no-name-brand that is 100x better.
On the s2k wheel topic, Rays is releasing this:
and Evasive just got CE28N's in S2k bbk clearing spec 17x10 +44
I have some pix up on my Flickr if you follow Boofster. I'll be editing them the next few weeks.
