This Saturday's drive
As I was dropping the kids of the pool, I was thinking about this Saturday's drive. As much as I would like to take the scenic route to Flagstaff, I would not like to drive for 4 hours, do a tech day and then drive back down at night by myself (I have to um wash my hair at night in my own shower).
My proposal for a second group would be, to leave meeting place number 1 at 930am and arrive approx the same time you guys do, by traveling straight up the I-17 for those who are driving back the same night.
I'm thinking about doing that. Anything that I am not seeing b/c I do not want to travel with the rest of the group? any thoughts, comments or funny quotes are welcome.

I plan on returning the evening of, but I wouldn't miss the group drive for the world. Screw the boring I-17 route. That isn't what going to flag for the tech day is about - the journey is the important part!!

Joe,
I can't make the drive up....I have to take my brother to the airport @ 9:30.
As a result, I have to go late and miss the drive up.
I will let you know when I am going.
Gives my passenger time to sleep-in.
PM me.
