Default Removing emblems

I am planning on removing my emblems. I have read that it usually leaves an adhesive residue, so I was told to use a blow drier or heat gun to heat up emblem then use floss to take off the emblem and then use some sort of product to remove residue. My options (alcohol, goo gone, duck brand) any other suggestions that are available in Arizona?

I have heard that goo gone is gritty and can scrape your paint. Did you notice anything like that? did you apply alot?

If you install aftermarket fenders, the emblems disappear instantly.

Step one, park our car outside with emblems in direct sunlight for a full day.

Step two, remove emblems

I've seen people use towels wetted with hot water to get the adhesive off.

Don't use a heat gun unless you're comfortable using one. It's not worth trashing your paint. Just use dental floss - it comes right off. A little Goo Gone for the residue, then rinse it off well and apply a coat of wax. You'll be fine.
