Default Recommendations for places to rent in Phoenix?

Hey guys. I'm moving up to Phoenix from Tucson in January and need advice on places to rent. Definitely need a garage and not looking to pay more than $500/month. I've been looking at Craigslist but there aren't a lot of places that have garages. Also would prefer somewhere in central phoenix where I don't have to drive 40 mins to work everyday. Any other websites that you would recommend? Thanks.

Dude, $500 a month will not get you anything in Phoenix with a garage. Probably get you a ghetto apartment in the hood where you car will be jacked within minutes. With a $500 budget, you are looking at roommate material.

That's what I meant. I'm not looking to rent out a house, just a room.

I'm renting a 2 bedroom house in chandler for $850 a month with a garage, so there's deals like that if you want to have a roommate to come up with that other part of rent AND have a garage.

Even more crazy, one of the houses next to me sold for about $30k, 1300sq ft, garage etc. If you could buy one you would pay less than $500 a month on it.

30K!? are you out in Queen Creek?

I live in a condo complex in papago park and there are garages available. However, you would have to do a 2 bdr and get a roomate to hit your budget.
