What's up guys/gals. Just called Rudy's to let them know we'd be coming. If we can get a group of 20 people confirmed it will bring our total costs down. I know it's late notice, but if people could post if they are certain they are going (+ any others), we can get a party room for us at $10 a person all inclusive buffet style (meats, sides, drinks, but not booze), and we don't have to stand in line to order, which can take a while at times. Normally I spend $15 a person when we go. If we can get enough people to sign up by 5pm today, I will pay for and book the private party room, and people can just pay me cash/paypal. Even if we can't get this large of a group, it will still be a great time.
The buffet-style menu would be as follows. I selected these based on the menu and from past visits as good: http://www.rudysbbq.com/page/home
Brisket, Pulled Pork, Jalapeno Sausage
Potato Salad, Corn on the Cob, Beans
Iced Tea, Sweet Tea, Lemonade (booze extra)
The only thing I ask is that this be a sticky signup, meaning it's a commitment that each seat is going to pay/eat. Also, if this is a lame idea let me know too, and we'll all do our own thing. We can still have an area set aside for us, but we'd have to do the line thing.

Bummer, we only got half way to the 20 mark and they needed to know this afternoon. However, never fear, they should still hook us up with the private room.
For the first-timers, this could end up better, when you get up to the registers ask for the free sample tastings.
