Pavilions tomorrow?

Unfortunately tuner type and Japanese cars haven't seen much interest from collectors. This is a real shame, and I'm not sure why. someday, that might change. when I look back at the barrett-jackson of the early 80's at phoenix municipal stadium, it was very different. cars from the 20's, 30's, 40's and 50's were the mainstay. Corvettes and serious sports cars were there with occasional muscle cars in restored and unrestored/original conditions. even collector car parts, magazines, owners manuals etc. were hawked in the parking lot! not so today. the collectors of that day are a dying breed, and have been replaced by a younger set, who also remember the cars of their youth. alot of these are American nostalgia 50's and 60's cars. These cars offer their owners a chance to relive their youth, and the chance to have a car they could not afford when they were younger.
Maybe in 10-15 years, we"ll get to see S2000's being shown as collector type cars. by then there might only be a handful of us left, wondering where all the time went. only getting together once in a while, looking with skeptical indifference at an excited new owner. only so glad to take their money, and move on.
